Great Question! I recommend wearing neutral colors. Think shades of tan, blue, green, terra cotta, etc. Since most of my shoots are outdoors you want to match the colors in nature and avoid bright colors and clothing with any large logos or images printed on them. As the mom of a 2 year old myself, I totally understand that young children can be unpredictable. I recommend you show your child a picture of me prior to our shoot and let them know that you are going to visit a new friend and I'll be taking your pictures. You may even want to show them pictures of a professional camera so they have seen it before our shoot. I am no stranger to being a goofball and I'm sure you child(ren) and I will have fun together in our session!

I'll be the first to tell you that I am not the photographer for everyone. Compared to other photographers I have shot side-by-side with I am much more laid back and aim to have some fun in our session. If you want someone to militantly call out poses and have a fast-paced, intense session...that is not me.

Photography is an artform and should be approached with enjoyment in mind!
